The killifish is a fish you catch in ponds. Look for a tiny shadow. In the northern hemisphere look for it in Apr – Aug, at any time of day. Nook's Cranny pays 300 Bells, C.J. pays 450 Bells.
An X-Small pond shadow that is around at all hours while in season. Cast at every tiny pond shadow and one should bite before long.
