Ranchu goldfish

The ranchu goldfish is a fish you catch in ponds. Look for a small shadow. In the northern hemisphere it is around all year, from 9 AM – 4 PM. It can only appear after you have caught 20 fish. Nook's Cranny pays 4,500 Bells, C.J. pays 6,750 Bells.

A small pond shadow in the middle of the day, after 20 catches. It is rare and sells for 4,500 Bells, so a daytime pond session is well worth it.
