Giant cicada

The giant cicada is a bug you catch on hardwood/cedar trees. In the northern hemisphere look for it in Jul – Aug, from 8 AM – 5 PM. It can only appear after you have caught 20 bugs. Nook's Cranny pays 500 Bells, Flick pays 750 Bells.

Hear a deep drone in the trees on summer days? Follow it to a hardwood or cedar trunk once you have 20 bug catches, and walk slowly with A held so it stays put.
