Brown cicada
The brown cicada is a bug you catch on hardwood/cedar trees. In the northern hemisphere look for it in Jul – Aug, from 8 AM – 5 PM. Nook's Cranny pays 250 Bells, Flick pays 375 Bells.
You will hear it before you see it, so follow the buzzing to a hardwood or cedar trunk in the daytime. Creep up with A held, since cicadas fly off if you run at them.
