Horned hercules

The horned hercules is a bug you catch on palm trees. In the northern hemisphere look for it in Jul – Aug, from 5 PM – 8 AM. It can only appear after you have caught 100 bugs. Nook's Cranny pays 12,000 Bells, Flick pays 18,000 Bells.

One of the most valuable bugs in the game, found on palm trees on summer nights once you have 100 bug catches. Take it slowly with the net raised, as Flick pays 18,000 Bells.
