Horned elephant

The horned elephant is a bug you catch on palm trees. In the northern hemisphere look for it in Jul – Aug, from 5 PM – 8 AM. It can only appear after you have caught 100 bugs. Nook's Cranny pays 8,000 Bells, Flick pays 12,000 Bells.

Another summer-night palm beetle with a 100-catch unlock, and palms on Nook Miles Ticket islands are worth checking too. Creep in slowly, then sell it to Flick for 12,000 Bells.
