Giant water bug

The giant water bug is a bug you catch on rivers/ponds. In the northern hemisphere look for it in Apr – Sep, from 7 PM – 8 AM. It can only appear after you have caught 50 bugs. Nook's Cranny pays 2,000 Bells, Flick pays 3,000 Bells.

Swims on rivers and ponds from evening through the night, rain or shine, once you have 50 bug catches. Stand on the bank and swing as it comes near, then sell it to Flick for 3,000 Bells.
