Diving beetle

The diving beetle is a bug you catch on rivers/ponds. In the northern hemisphere look for it in May – Sep, from 8 AM – 7 PM. Nook's Cranny pays 800 Bells, Flick pays 1,200 Bells.

Look for a small beetle swimming on rivers and ponds in the daytime, even in the rain. You can reach it from the bank, so stand at the edge and swing as it drifts close.
