Wild painting left half
Wild painting left half is a statue based on "Folding Screen of Fūjin and Raijin (L)" by Tawaraya Sōtatsu. Jolly Redd sells it from his boat for 4,980 Bells, but it may be a forgery, so check before you buy. Donate the genuine piece to the museum to fill the art gallery.
The left panel of Sōtatsu's gold-leaf folding screen, showing Raijin the thunder god surrounded by his ring of drums.
How to spot the forgery
This half shows Raijin, who is white on the genuine screen. On the fake he is green. An easy rule: white god on the left, green god on the right.
