Wasp
The wasp is a bug you catch shaking trees. In the northern hemisphere it is around all year, at any time of day. Nook's Cranny pays 2,500 Bells, Flick pays 3,750 Bells.
Equip your net before shaking a tree, and if a nest drops, turn to face the wasps and swing at once. If stung, take medicine, as a second sting knocks you out; running indoors also loses them.
