Robust statue
Robust statue is a statue based on "Discobolus" by Artist Unknown. Jolly Redd sells it from his boat for 4,980 Bells, but it may be a forgery, so check before you buy. Donate the genuine piece to the museum to fill the art gallery.
A Roman marble copy of a lost Greek bronze by Myron, catching an athlete in mid-swing just before he throws a discus.
How to spot the forgery
Zoom in on the right hand gripping the discus. A wristwatch on that wrist marks a fake; the genuine athlete wears nothing there.
