King salmon

The king salmon is a fish you catch where the river meets the sea. Look for a very large shadow. In the northern hemisphere look for it in Sep, at any time of day. It can only appear after you have caught 20 fish. Nook's Cranny pays 1,800 Bells, C.J. pays 2,700 Bells.

Appears only at the river mouth, and only for one month a year, after 20 catches. Look for an X-Large shadow among the far more common regular salmon; it sells for 1,800 Bells.
