Graceful painting
Graceful painting is a painting based on "Beauty Looking Back" by Hishikawa Moronobu. Jolly Redd sells it from his boat for 4,980 Bells, but it may be a forgery, so check before you buy. Donate the genuine piece to the museum to fill the art gallery.
Hishikawa Moronobu's painting of a fashionable woman of Edo glancing back over her shoulder, an early classic of the ukiyo-e style.
How to spot the forgery
Compare the size of the figure. The fake woman is blown up until she fills the whole frame, while the genuine leaves space around her. A displayed fake sometimes turns her head the other way.
