Fly
The fly is a bug you catch flying near trash (boots, tires, cans, used fountain fireworks) or rotten turnips. In the northern hemisphere it is around all year, at any time of day. Nook's Cranny pays 60 Bells, Flick pays 90 Bells.
Flies only show up around trash or rotten turnips, so drop an old boot or an empty can on the ground and wait nearby. Fishing is the easiest way to pick up some trash for bait.
