Dinosaur track

Dinosaur track is a standalone fossil: one piece completes it. Dig up fossils at the cracks on the ground, have Blathers assess them, then donate it to the museum or sell spares for 1,000 Bells.

Dinosaur tracks formed when footprints left in soft mud hardened and were buried. These trace fossils show how dinosaurs walked, how fast they moved and sometimes whether they travelled in groups.
