Ant
The ant is a bug you catch on rotten turnips or candy. In the northern hemisphere it is around all year, at any time of day. Nook's Cranny pays 80 Bells, Flick pays 120 Bells.
Ants never spawn on their own. Drop a rotten turnip or a piece of candy on the ground, then check back after a little while to find them crawling over the bait.
