Acorn barnacle
The acorn barnacle is a sea creature you catch while swimming in the sea (dive where you see bubbles). Look for a tiny shadow. In the northern hemisphere it is around all year, at any time of day. Nook's Cranny pays 600 Bells.
Put on a wetsuit, swim out and press Y over the bubbles. This tiny shadow never moves, so it is an easy grab at any hour, all year.
